As a veterinary student, I spend almost all of my days in the lab with teaching materials. I am surrounded by sheep, pigs, rats and cats. Sometimes I find myself wishing for something different to distract me from all the text book page flipping. I have always been fascinated by the workings of the human body, but because of the textbook restrictions, I had to give up some of my more interesting life interests. I know that most people want to use their books and educational examples only for productive learning and that does not usually include studying anatomy. However, I am ready to prove that it's possible for any student to get an education while enjoying himself. While reading this book, you will learn more than you think you can learn through formal education on human anatomy alone. Most of the human body is soft and not made of steel like the bones. It can be quite hard to take a keen interest in the study of soft tissue. That's where this book comes in. I will keep your interest by offering interesting stories, observations and comparisons between humans and other animals, as well as using real life examples to show how human anatomy can be applied to veterinary medicine. I have learned a great deal from other authors on anatomy and physiology so I am sure that you will learn a lot from me as well.
